I joined the team at Saunders & Co City Office in 2021 and moved to our new Papanui offices mid-2022, which is where I am now based. I have been working in various legal roles since 2006, taking me from the West Coast of the South Island to Las Vegas, Nevada, where I was raised. I am Mexican American by background, but also consider myself half-Kiwi having lived in New Zealand for the better part of 20 years.
Thanks to my lengthy background working in a legal environment, I have been fortunate enough to manage a variety of private client work. My ultimate focus is assisting our clients with their everyday needs and making sure that any legal processes required are easier for them. Whether that be buying and selling property, ensuring that their estate planning, wills and enduring powers of attorney are in place, or helping grieving families with deceased estate administration. The result I want to achieve is to work in a personal and efficient manner, providing clear explanations and solutions, while making the matter at hand easier to understand. I have completed my Legal Executive studies while working full time and graduated in 2015. Currently I am registered as an Associate of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, baking, reading, or walking one of Christchurch’s beautiful tracks.
