I joined Saunders & Co as an accounting executive in 2007. I have worked in this field for more than 30 years and, before immigrating to New Zealand from the UK, I worked in many large corporate organisations.

My primary role involves working alongside John Bates to manage the firm’s growing IRD tax agency, delivering accounting and taxation compliance services.

Many clients take advantage of this ‘add-on’ service for family trusts, estate work, rental properties, private investment holdings and small business accounting. Having these matters handled in-house, alongside their legal transactions can significantly streamline the process for clients, saving both time and costs. I have a particular interest in providing rental property investors with taxation advice and ways to create tax efficiency. I also prepare end of year tax returns for a growing number of clients.

Building a rapport with a diverse mix of clients and meeting various challenges and deadlines are aspects of my role that I enjoy.

My thorough and accurate approach ensures clients’ accounting records and tax affairs are professionally managed to a high standard.
